Shacman X5000e Electric Prime Mover and Tipper Launched in Nepal

Jagdamba Motors, under Shanker Group, has officially launched the Shacman X5000e 6×4 Electric Prime Mover and Shacman X5000e 6×4 Electric Tipper in Nepal in collaboration with Shaanxi Automobile Group (SHACMAN). The launch marks the brand’s entry into Nepal’s electric heavy-duty commercial vehicle segment.

The two electric commercial vehicles are designed for different applications, with the X5000e Electric Prime Mover targeting heavy haulage and long-distance transportation, while the X5000e Electric Tipper is intended for construction, mining and other demanding off-road operations.

The Shacman X5000e range features an electric powertrain and a 6×4 drivetrain. Both models also come with fast-charging capability, regenerative braking and intelligent battery management systems, designed to support operational efficiency in demanding commercial environments.

In terms of pricing, the Shacman X5000e 6×4 Electric Prime Mover is priced at Rs 2.05 crore, while the Shacman X5000e 6×4 Electric Tipper costs Rs 2.35 crore in Nepal.

The vehicles also feature driver-focused equipment, including air-suspended seats, multifunction steering, air conditioning and large instrument displays. Safety and control systems are included to support their intended heavy-duty applications.

Speaking at the launch, Deepa Agrawal, Director of Shanker Group, said the partnership with Shacman reflects the group's commitment to bringing advanced electric mobility solutions to Nepal and creating opportunities in the commercial transportation sector.

Sanders Lee, South Asia General Manager of Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group, described Nepal as a promising market for electric heavy-duty vehicles and said the collaboration aims to introduce reliable, technology-driven commercial vehicle solutions to the country.

Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors, said the X5000e models are an important addition to the company's commercial vehicle portfolio, addressing the evolving requirements of Nepal's transport, construction and industrial sectors.

With the introduction of the two models, Jagdamba Motors expands its portfolio into the electric heavy-duty commercial vehicle segment, targeting businesses involved in transportation, construction, mining and industrial operations.
